The World Caf\u00e9 New Logo Contest is now closed. We have received a number of extraordinary entries and the announcement of the contest winner and 5 finalists has been extended while we investigate the creative and legal viability of our top choices. Watch this space! \n By enabling and encouraging individual and group interaction within \u201chospitable space\u201d, our shared commitment to supporting collective wisdom and powerful communications has fueled the evolution of conversational leadership and helped to transform the worlds we live in. <\/p>\n \nIn this critical moment, the World Caf\u00e9 Community Foundation is making some significant changes to keep up with our growth, expand opportunities for engagement and ensure our sustainability in the years to come. We are embracing innovation in all our communications, and will be launching a new website to re-present ourselves in a way that symbolizes the essence of the World Cafe. <\/p>\n We\u2019d like to invite you to be part of this shift! All contributions are welcome. Whether you're a professional designer, a student, graphic recorder, or simply someone who loves the World Cafe and has an artistic sensibility – if you have an idea for the new World Caf\u00e9 logo, we\u2019d like to see it.<\/p>\n Read on for more details, including Prizes, Design Specs, Entry Requirement and other Rules & Regulations…<\/p>\n<\/p>\n What we are looking for<\/strong>: Your design must have some continuity with the existing logo, in which the aspects with the most \u201cequity\u201d are the cup and the globe. We\u2019re looking for an image that embodies the qualities of professionalism, simplicity, and boldness. The new logo should reflect the \u201cidentity\u201d of the World Caf\u00e9 \u2013 conversation, collaboration, connection, and innovation, and it should be classic (in the sense of timeless), and meaningful within a culturally aware global context. <\/p>\n
\nThe contest is open to interested parties of any age, from all countries, whatever your relationship is to the World Caf\u00e9. Students and professionals both are welcome, and people from outside the U.S. are especially encouraged to participate.<\/p>\n
You are free to submit as many entries as you like. There is no cost for entry.<\/p>\n
The Logo should be presented in accordance with the following: <\/p>\n
\u2022Minimum 300 dpi
\u2022Minimum 500px wide, or 5\u201d x 3\u201d

\u2022Preferably in four color, but must also look crisp and effective in black and white (important: please include any precise color instructions for both web (RGB) and print (CMYK) <\/p>\n
